I had just watched a movie by Jim Carrey " YesMan". It is about a guy being lifeless, recommended by a friend to attend a motivation course. From it, he started to try to say "yes" to everything, and he changed through it.
Indeed, we should say yes to everything, except those that are not moral, ethical. Saying yes means that we are ready to accept the challenge, we want to make a contribution to this world and many opportunities will come upon you through it, only you decide you want to grab it or not.
Say yes is having an attitude of optimism.
I highly recommend you all to have a watch on this movie & learn from it the "yes" idea.

The movie sounds interesting to watch. Will definitely go to watch.
ReplyDeleteIn America, people are trained to freely express what you really think, and evelate the freedom of speech. One can say "No" if s/he does not feel like doing it. But our culture teach us not to say "No" to our elders, friends, etc. So we have to say "Yes" to avoid conflicts.
But I believe what the Blog Master just pointed out is a "Yes/No" response to different kinds of tasks. It is a response to our inner challenge. Challenges that human kind tends to say "No" when they see "impossible", or they need to walk the extra mile, or they feel fearful that they will fail or to even try. As a result we often surrender our right to certain things because of our mentality.
But by saying "Yes" to challenges we dare not face before, a new way will be found. We create a blue ocean.
